
La Mirada FC (LMFC) is the competitive youth soccer division of the La Mirada Soccer Association (LMSA), based in La Mirada, California. LMFC serves as a bridge for players transitioning from recreational soccer into higher-level competitive play. As a community-based program operating at 80% La Mirada residency, we are committed to developing local talent while maintaining strong community roots.

LMFC provides a more rigorous and structured environment than recreational leagues while maintaining a lower overall cost compared to many club programs. Our focus is development, growth, and preparing players for the next level of competition.
Development Pathway
Our program is designed to prepare players and families for elite-level club competition by emphasizing technical development, tactical understanding, work ethic, and team culture.

LMFC is a proud member of Cal South, the state’s governing body for youth soccer.
NEW: Beginning Fall Season, LMFC has officially been accepted into SoCal Soccer League. This acceptance strengthens our developmental pathway and provides our players with meaningful, competitive match experiences while still maintaining our community-based values.
Coaching
All LMFC coaches are competitively licensed and 100% volunteer-based. Our coaches are committed to player development, positive culture, and long-term growth.

Playing Time
There is no guaranteed minimum playing time; however, our coaches are committed to player development and typically aim to provide approximately 50% playing time over the course of the season to maximize growth for all rostered players.
